Description

xLights is program for sequencing LED pixels and other lights to music. It provides a complete program for modeling the target display (normally the users house or yard) in either 2D using a picture as a background or in full 3D with a stand OBJ model.

The user can add models such as trees, arches, candy canes, etc... to their display. Each model has a set of user settable properties for configuring the types of LED pixels, the number of pixels, etc...

When the display setup is complete, the user can create a sequence by loading a music file and then mapping various effects onto each model based on the timing and other cues in the music.

Finally, the user can test their creations by outputting the data directly to the controllers that are controlling the lights. xLights supports a wide range of controllers from standard e1.31 based controllers, ArtNet, DDP, DMX, PixelNet, etc...

Best Developers and App for Lights!

Xlights is amazing! I like that I can get this on the app store however it would be nice to be able to download previous versions and to be able to run mulitple copies of Xlights on my mac. I run multiple shows and I like to copy and paste between sequences. Right now my extra copies are out of date and I'm not sure how to update them through the app store.

Thank You for all of the hard work!

Best Sequencing Software You Can Find

I've been using xLights for close to 10 years (before it was even a sequencer) and I absolutely love it. It doesn't matter your application, xLights can handle it. I love that it's cross platform and that you can do vertually anything with it. The best part, it's completely free! The developers are great as well, they get on any bugs/issues right away.

P.S. Glade to see it's finally in the app store!
